Deuce has updated!
Deuce. This week’s chapter has been added to my Galleries of Stone prequel, a serial that lets you see how Aurelius and Ulrica met … and continued to meet. Despite her being an uphill girl & him being a dockside boy.
Chapters are short, so they’re swift as Ulrica’s thrown blades, but they’re also worth their weight in Harrow gold. I hope you’ll consider supporting my writing by “subscribing” to the story. Become a patron at any tier, and you’ll be able to read along. CJ Milbrandt on Patreon >>

Strategic selections that fit my BINGO board!
Sept/Oct BINGO
Two Months. We always do a Summer Reading push, with accelerated goals for the June, July, and August BINGO boards. But with September upon us, we’ll ease back into a comfortable pace. Two months for the next few boards, nice and easy.
I already have a start on my BINGO reading. Grab your board over on #MGCarousel >>

ART: Stone Song
Sending Mail. I commissioned lettering from an artist I enjoy working with. Asha took the words to the stone song that Freydolf teaches Tupper in the Galleries of Stone series and turned them into something lovely.
I’ve had art cards printed, and I’m sending them to all of my patrons this month. If you’ve been thinking about joining my supporters, you now have one more little reason to do so. Any tier will do. Thank you!

August BINGO
August 2024. The push for summer reading continues with a new board for August. I’ve been poking through my piles, finding books that fit.
Four BINGOs
#amreading. I was able to find the right books to cover my squares for June’s BINGO board. Very satisfying. And many good reads in the mix. If you want to know what I’m reading sooner, you could follow me on Goodreads.
Looking forward to August BINGO! You can play along by grabbing a blank board from Middle Grade Carousel, a blog I run with my daughter Elza.
